Product Description:
The CT-BSC series from Janitza features low-power (333mV) split-core current transformers designed specifically for use with the UMG 96-PQ-L-LP power analyzer and the 800-CT8-LP expansion module (compatible with the UMG 801). These transformers support primary current ranges from 600 A to 2500 A and deliver class 0.5 accuracy.
Conductor Compatibility
To ensure accurate measurement, the transformer must fit properly around the conductor. The CT-BSC series supports the following conductor dimensions:
- CT-BSC-021-000-600: 21 x 51 mm
- CT-BSC-050-000-1200: 50 x 90 mm
- CT-BSC-080-000-2500: 80 x 120 mm
Split-Core Design
The CT-BSC transformers feature a divisible (split-core) construction, allowing them to be easily installed around conductors without shutting down the system. This simplifies the installation process, minimizes downtime, and makes them well-suited for retrofit applications.
