Product Description:
The 800-DI14 module increases the number of digital inputs available on a UMG 800 series main module by adding 14 extra inputs. This enables easy integration of signals from external devices with digital outputs into the main system. Thanks to its built-in JanBus interface, the module can be seamlessly connected to the main module or other JanBus-compatible expansion modules by simply sliding it into place. It is automatically detected upon connection and features LED indicators to show its status. Configuration can be done directly via the main module or through software such as GridVis.
The 800-DI14 recognizes input signals when the voltage ranges between 18 VDC and 28 VDC (typically at 4 mA) or when the input current is between 0.5 mA and 6 mA. Signals are not recognized if the voltage is between 0–5 V or if the input current is below 0.5 mA.
