Product Description:
The 800-CT8-LP expansion module for the UMG 800 series allows the main module to be expanded by adding 8 additional low power current transformers, organized into 2 groups of 4 current measuring channels. Multiple modules can be connected to further increase the number of current measurement channels in the system. The module communicates with the main module via the JanBus interface.
Connecting the module to the main unit is straightforward using a click system with integrated JanBus interface ports. Once attached to the DIN rail, the module slides into place next to the main module or another JanBus-equipped module. Thanks to these built-in connections, no wiring is required between modules. After installation, the main module automatically detects the new module, with its status shown via 3 front-facing LEDs. Configuration is simple, either directly on the main module or using software like GridVis.
This current measuring module is compact, occupying just 1 TE of space, and is specifically designed for low power current transformers with a 333mV output. It is not compatible with DC measurements.
