Product Description:


The 800-CT8-A expansion module allows you to add two sets of four current measurement channels—supporting a total of eight additional current transformers—to a UMG 800 series main module. Multiple expansion modules can be used together to further increase the number of current measurement channels in your setup. Communication with the main module is handled via the JanBus interface.

Installation is quick and tool-free thanks to the built-in click system and integrated JanBus connectors. Once mounted on the DIN rail, the module can be slid directly against the main module or another compatible JanBus module—no extra cables required. The main module automatically detects the new module, and its operational status can be monitored using the three front-facing LEDs. Configuration is straightforward and can be done either directly on the main module or through GridVis software.

This 4 TE-wide module is designed for current transformers with 1A or 5A secondary current and is not intended for direct current measurement.
